Process: They are doing research on Partha Pratim Deb, renowned artist in Kolkata. Researched about the artist’s works and interests with proper time line. Studied his artworks, concentrating on the paintings and sculptures hypothetically. They observed that in his paintings, were applications of vibrant colors and there is a kind of primordial effects with modern forms and interesting transmute images which is very introspective. There are ink drawings on the paper where sensuality amalgamates with humor and social reality.
They also searched that Partha pratim's works are of modernism era and figures how his works entered into the post- modern practice for example three dimensional art pieces and sculptures made from throw away and found objects specially paper pulp. Influence of pop-art and Dadaism can be seen in his paintings. That is why they have researched about the artists who worked and presently working like Partha Pratim Deb from who he influenced from. The artworks of Paul Klee and Robert Rouchen Berg are very many similarities with his art works. They have observed the metaphysical aspects of Paul klee with his similarity forms and line. Similarity in colour approach and figure setting are depicted in the works of Robert Rouchen Berg. There were the western influences along with this, about the throw and found objects. For example Marcel Duchamp’s art work “fountain” and his influence on Parth Pratim Deb. Though in context of Indian influences, artworks of artists like Jyoti Bhatt and K.G.subramanyan are very similar like colour application, image depiction, ideas.
